I'm a publicity expert as well as a former newspaper editor. And I'm amazed at how almost all of his 40 items explain the reasons why journalists cover one person's story versus the 12 other stories that other people pitched to them that same day.

Every time he mentions "your prospect," or "the consumer," I substituted the word "journalist." You could also subsitute the word "bloggers" and all of his tips pretty much apply.

Thanks for this list. It gives Publicity Hounds and others, regardless of what they're selling, lots to think about.
