We have trip coming up to go to India. Second one this year for me. This one is special as my book “Beyond Code” is just being released there. I have a few talks related to that. So the trip planning has begun.
The other day Kavitha (my wife) was filling up a Visa application for my 7 year-old son Sumukh.
Sumukh was curious to see his name on the application and he asked “Mama.. Why are you putting up my name here?”
Kavitha said “It is for a Visa application”
Immediately Sumukh responded - “How did you guys decide on Visa for me? Why not Master Card or American Experess?”

Very funny indeed.!
My daughter who is 6 years old asked me one morning: Dad what do you want to become when you grow up?
That is really funny incident. That also shows how much the younger generation is aware of now a days.

That incident wouldn’t make me smile, I personally find it frightening, a 7 year old who has such brand awareness for a product that he can not even use, the propaganda our children are exposed to on a daily basis and what they remember versus what they should know and what questions they should be asking is what scares me in all this
Rajesh, Please contact me when you return from India. I really want to record an interview w/you about Beyond Code.
Have a great trip!
